Celebrating Six Decades Campaign: 60/60 Club
Carmen de Lavallade has been a dance and theater treasure for more than six decades. Her new solo show, As I Remember It, chronicles some of her most personal and artistic achievements told through storytelling and elegant movement, privileging the audience with many untold stories about herself, and the legends she has worked with over the past sixty years.
Celebrate Carmen de Lavallade’s incomparable artistry by joining the 60/60 Club. A $60 gift commemorates over 60 years of Carmen’s artistic contributions. You will enjoy exclusive ticket offers, receive invitations to special events and support the development of Carmen’s new solo show As I Remember It.
As I Remember It will have its world premiere at the venerable performing arts institution Jacob’s Pillow on June 20th, 2014 and will tour nationally to highly regarded venues including the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The live production and subsequent ten city national tour will launch a series of initiatives devoted towards preserving and sharing Carmen’s legacy.
